The future of space tourism is here and evident more than ever. Jeff Bezos’s aerospace company BLUE ORIGIN has created a space flight named New Shepard spacecraft which will be taking off in July.

This spaceflight will provide an 11-minute outer experience to the passengers on board. It has auctioned off 6 seats till now.  The bid has reached as high as $2.8 Million. Moreover, there are over 5200 applicants from all over the world.

So what is it going to be like being on board this flight? The spacecraft is expected to reach a height of 105 Kilometers above sea level. There, the passengers can unbuckle and float around for 3 minutes to have an outer earth experience.

Not only this but the spacecraft is also equipped with the largest windows to ever go into space. This will ensure passengers on board have an experience of a lifetime with the ultimate view of the great beyond.

This is one of the biggest leaps in the space tourism industry. As the research and development on space tourism are in full swing, this execution of a leisurely flight to space will open many horizons for the aerospace and tourism industry.

Moreover, the funds received through this auction bid will be invested by Blue Origin Foundation in the development of life in space and promoting students to take on careers in the field of science.
